Cobren is a passionate advocate for educational equity and college access, currently serving as a Course Success Manager at the National Education Opportunity Network (NEON). In this role, she works to make advanced college coursework accessible to Title I schools across the country, partnering with leading universities to expand opportunity for students historically underrepresented in higher education.
Before joining NEON, Cobren built a broad portfolio of experience in education, program design, and strategic leadership. She has collaborated with high schools, higher education institutions, and community partners to develop programs that blend academic rigor with individualized support, ensuring students not only have access to opportunity but are prepared to excel. Her work spans K–12 education and workforce development, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world opportunity through innovative, data-driven, and collaborative approaches.
Today, Cobren continues her mission to close opportunity gaps through her work at NEON and her service as Board Chair for the STEM Library Lab in New Orleans. She remains deeply committed to the belief that talent is universal, but opportunity is not, and strives to create systems that bridge that divide.
In her spare time, Cobren enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and kayaking on the bayou.
